Machine Operator

Windy Poplars Farm Ag Venture, located near Wynyard Saskatchewan, is looking to add to our team. We are hiring for the Machinery Operator Position that is currently available. This position is a full-time permanent position. Summer student positions also available.

Primary Duties

• Haul water and mix chemicals in batches for delivery to field sprayers • Handling chemicals and mixing batches for sprayers • Basic equipment maintenance

The following are duties to work toward pending experience, abilities and training.

• Spraying • Swathing • Grain cart operation • Other tasks as required

Requirements:

• Experience operating all types of agricultural equipment • Work well in a team environment and be a team player • Be able to work independently when required • Class 1A Driver's License or possibly 5G • Must be reliable and able to work longer hours during busy seasons

Equipment Used:

• Sprayer • Swather • Tractor and Grain Cart • Skid Steer • Truck and trailer for hauling chemical batches • Semi and tanker trailer with 1A license • Semi and sprayer hauling trailer with 1A license
